Hello and Welcome to iVoteIndie!
I started iVoteIndie because we have a homeless problem in the United States. Not in the traditional sense as it relates to the 550,000 people without a place to live but specifically with the 61 million voters in the United States that choose to not affiliate with a political party. These independent voters do not have a home in our existing two-party system, and in a traditional sense, probably never will.
I used Bitcoin as the model for iVoteIndie because structurally it works. Why? Bitcoin was founded by a small group of people focused on developing a stable digital currency. They didn’t approach the U.S. Government and try to change the gold standard. They did a technological end run around it and changed the world forever. This is the approach I want to take with iVoteIndie.
Creating a legitimate, meaningful traditional third political party in the United States is an impossible task. Many have tried, all have failed. Ross Perot, The Tea Party Movement, the Libertarian party, and the recently formed Forward Party,
Like Bitcoin created digital gold as a currency and a store of wealth, I want to create iVoteIndie as virtual store of political power for the 61 M independent voters in the United States. Like Bitcoin, iVoteIndie is part branding, part platform, all digital and will be able to shift the base of political power in a way that could never be accomplished looking for legitimacy in the context of the existing political system.
If challenging and changing the way the existing political system works appeals to you, dive in and learn more about us.
